Soccer Game Preview: Highline vs. Bellevue

The Highline Pirates will head out on the road to square off against the Bellevue Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highline's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Highline is headed into Thursday's game following a draw, the team's first since March 13. Neither they nor Inglemoor could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Bellevue entered their contest against Hazen on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolverines fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Bellevue have lost by just one goal.

Bellevue is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-5. Highline's draw gives them a new season record of 8-6-2.
