It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crossroad Academy can now relate to. They lost 59-38 to the Hawthorne Hornets on Friday. The Scorpions' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Chasion Wilson, who went 5-for-8 en route to 16 points in addition to eight boards and three steals for Hawthorne. The match was Wilson's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leland Johnson, who posted 13 points.

Crossroad Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Hawthorne, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Crossroad Academy nor Hawthorne have any future games scheduled.
