Football Game Preview: Hart Longhorns vs. Springlake-Earth Wolverines

For the first time this season, Hart will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Springlake-Earth Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hart knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Springlake-Earth likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Hart blew past Anton, posting a 60-12 win. Fans of the Longhorns have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-48, which was the final score in Springlake-Earth's tilt against Whiteface on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Antelopes recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Hart's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Springlake-Earth, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
