Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lufkin, Mt. Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Troup, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Mt. Pleasant has posted since April 25, 2024.

Mt. Pleasant now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Troup, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will be taking part in a tournament against Van at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
