Soccer Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova lost against Memphis Central back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Cordova came up short against Memphis Central, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that Cordova have lost by exactly four goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Cordova and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Memphis Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will take on Raleigh-Egypt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cordova is facing Raleigh-Egypt at the right time seeing as Raleigh-Egypt is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Memphis Central, they will face off against Millington Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
