It was a proper cat-fight when Dillon duked it out with Loris on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Dillon and bumps their season record up to 4-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Loris, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-6-1.

Dillon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-11 win against Knox Central on the 2nd. As for Loris, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Marlboro County on the 4th.
