Jazmyn Sandoval made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
In other batting news, Olivia Vargas was incredible, scoring four runs while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits. Peyton Saenz was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
