Basketball Recap: Central Takes Down Ranked Bloomfield

Central is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bloomfield. The Central Golden Eagles walked away with a 71-60 victory over the Bloomfield Warhawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

Central's record is now 12-4. As for Bloomfield, their loss ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-3.

Looking ahead, Central won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Poughkeepsie at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bloomfield, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Classical at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Classical will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Bloomfield surely won't give up without a fight.
