Football Recap: Round Valley Takes a Loss

Round Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 42-28 bruising from the Tomales Braves. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Round Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tomales, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Round Valley will head out to take on California School for the Deaf at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tomales, they will host South Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
