Baseball Recap: Stafford Comes Up Short

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-5 to the Rockville Rams. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Tyler Murray was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Leone, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Stafford's record is now 6-12. As for Rockville, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Stafford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockville, they are taking a road trip to take on Windsor Locks at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
