Rowe came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Lubbock Westerners.

Rowe's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lubbock, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Rowe and Lubbock will both be playing Jourdanton the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Indians/Squaws at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Westerners will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
