Volleyball Game Preview: Compton Tarbabes vs. Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits

Compton is 0-9 against Long Beach Poly since March of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The two teams, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court at 5:30 p.m.

Compton came up short against Woodrow Wilson last Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-3, 25-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Long Beach Poly, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They put the hurt on Cabrillo with a sharp 3-0 victory last Wednesday.

Compton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Long Beach Poly, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
