Recap: Legacy Academy Silverbacks vs. To'hajiilee Warriors
The Legacy Academy Silverbacks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to To'hajiilee for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-17 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Legacy Academy, who have now won four matchups by 37 points or more so far this season.
Legacy Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Robie Turrieta , who scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Noah Sanchez, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Legacy Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for To'hajiilee, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Academy will take on East Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for To'hajiilee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jemez Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jemez Valley is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
