Soccer Recap: Pierce County Takes a Loss

Pierce County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Savannah Arts Academy Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Pierce County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Savannah Arts Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Pierce County will face off against Fitzgerald at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on February 28th against Cook at 5:00 p.m.
