While Christ Presbyterian Academy's victory against Montgomery Bell Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions slipped by the Big Red 16-15 on Friday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Big Red recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Rawls Patterson, who rushed for 197 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Christ Presbyterian Academy picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Montgomery Bell Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ Presbyterian Academy will square off against Ensworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montgomery Bell Academy, they will host Father Ryan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
