Baseball Recap: Pecos Takes a Loss

Pecos's last matchup with Seminole could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. Pecos came up short against Seminole, falling 15-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Pecos' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Seminole, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pecos will challenge rival Monahans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Seminole is set to square off against their familiar foe Fort Stockton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
