While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 12-8 in the first quarter.

Bethune-Bowman pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Scott's Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.
