Baseball Recap: Auburn Riverside Victorious

Auburn Riverside won the last time they faced Stadium and things went their way on Thursday too. The Ravens walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Ravens.

Cameron Bain made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Auburn Riverside is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 1-3 otherwise. Bain was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Cole Svendsen was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nate Soto, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Auburn Riverside's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Stadium, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Auburn Riverside will challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Stadium, they will square off against West Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
