Baseball Game Preview: Virginia High Bearcats vs. Lebanon Pioneers

Virginia High hasn't had much luck against Lebanon recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bearcats will head out to challenge the Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Virginia High is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Patrick Henry on Friday as they made off with a 15-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Lebanon earned a 5-2 victory over Sullivan East last Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Virginia High now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lebanon, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Virginia High came up short against Lebanon when the teams last played back in May of 2024, falling 6-3. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
