Affton came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Metro Panthers with a sharp 5-2 win. Considering Affton have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Affton's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Metro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
