Baseball Recap: Tecumseh Savages vs. Harrah Panthers
Tecumseh extended their losing streak to seven on Monday, dropping them down to 8-19. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harrah Panthers. The Savages were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Tecumseh got a massive performance out of Cooper Laughlin, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The Savages are 3-1 when Laughlin posts two or more runs, but 5-18 otherwise. Major Bryant was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
As for Harrah, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch.
On Harrah's side, Tucker MCguire was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Another player making a difference was Mason Mcgehee, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
While Tecumseh had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
