Baseball Preview: Anacoco Indians vs. Northwood Falcons

The Anacoco Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Northwood Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, Anacoco got the win against Oak Hill by a conclusive 16-1. 16 seems to be a good number for Anacoco as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Kaleb Goodwin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (he also only allowed one walk). Goodwin was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Anacoco back to even at 7-7. As for Northwood, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.
