Baseball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Kittitas

The Kittitas Coyotes made easy work of the Nooksack Valley Pioneers on Saturday and carried off an 8-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Coyotes.

Kittitas' win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.6 runs over those games. As for Nooksack Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Kittitas is taking a road trip to challenge La Salle at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nooksack Valley, they will welcome Burlington-Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Nooksack Valley their first taste of in-conference action this season.
