Soccer Recap: Dos Pueblos Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Dos Pueblos has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oxnard Yellowjackets. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yellowjackets from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Dos Pueblos' goal came courtesy of Miguel Greenberg, which was the first he's scored this season.

Dos Pueblos' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2-2. As for Oxnard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-3 record this season.

Dos Pueblos wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Pacifica on the 15th. Oxnard has also already played their next game (against Buena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
