In Saturday's Canine Competition, Anselmo-Merna prevailed. They came out on top against the Twin Loup Wolves by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won four in a row.

Rylee Myers paced Anselmo-Merna's offense, picking up eight kills. Myers got some help from Lily Thornton and her 15 assists. Kyra Schmidt and Shayleigh Coleman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Anselmo-Merna's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Twin Loup, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-23 record this season.

Anselmo-Merna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against South Loup on the 18th. As for Twin Loup, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Sandhills Valley on the 18th.
