Football Recap: Treyvon Bearhs and Reezin Stitt Pace Wahama Defense

Wahama won the last time they faced Eastern and Reezin Stitt did his part to make sure it happened again. The White Falcons strolled past the Eagles with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-10 for which the team can thank Stitt, who rushed for 137 yards and three scores. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making 16 total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Wahama didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Treyvon Bearhs and Stitt. Stitt is also crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 137 every time he's taken the field this season.

Wahama's record now sits at 6-0. As for Eastern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wahama will take on Ritchie County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern, they will face off against Trimble at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tomcats' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
