Baseball Recap: Cherryvale Takes a Loss

Cherryvale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-0 to the Columbus Titans. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cherryvale's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Columbus, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

When Cherryvale and Columbus next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Chargers will face off against Caney Valley and their four-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Columbus will try to stop Galena's three-game winning streak when they meet on Monday.
