Softball Recap: South Oak Cliff Comes Up Short

South Oak Cliff fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Adamson on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Leopards by a score of 24-22. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Mariah Hill was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Moxie McGee, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-6.

South Oak Cliff's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Adamson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Oak Cliff is set to square off against their familiar foe Sunset at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Adamson will challenge rival Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
