Soccer Game Preview: High Tech NC vs. Preuss UCSD

The High Tech NC Raptor will face off against the Preuss UCSD Tritons at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

High Tech NC managed to slip by Bayfront Charter the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raptor came up short against the Sharks on Thursday, falling 3-0. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly High Tech NC struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Preuss UCSD was not quite Chula Vista Learning Community Charter's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cobras by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Preuss UCSD can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1066th, while Chula Vista Learning Community Charter are ranked 358th).

Preuss UCSD has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-10-2 record this season. As for High Tech NC, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1.
