Basketball Recap: Sheffield Takes a Loss

Sheffield lost against Rogers back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sheffield Bulldogs took a 51-37 bruising from the Rogers Pirates. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sheffield's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Rogers, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Sheffield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-53 loss against Colbert County on the 28th. Rogers has also already played their next game, a 71-35 victory against Covenant Christian on the 28th.
