Basketball Recap: Hansen Takes a Loss

Hansen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camas County Mushers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mushers this season, with their most recent loss being a 63-44 defeat back in January.

Camas County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Quinn Palan out in front who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Cadden Hathaway, who put up 14 points.

Hansen's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Camas County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Hansen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Camas County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-33 win against Richfield on the 26th.
