Baseball Recap: Interstate 35 Comes Up Short

Interstate 35 has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.64 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Pleasantville Trojans. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Roadrunners were not able to get on the board.

Interstate 35's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Pleasantville, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Interstate 35 will face off against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasantville, they will take on Grinnell at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
