Volleyball Game Preview: Reagan Raiders vs. Glenn Bobcats

After both having extra time off, the Reagan Raiders and the Glenn Bobcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Reagan will be strutting in after a win while Glenn will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Reagan got the win against East Forsyth by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Reagan took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of R.J. Reynolds.

While R.J. Reynolds got the win, Glenn sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 28-26, 16-25, 26-24.

Reagan's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Reagan took their win against Glenn in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
