Basketball Game Preview: Orem Tigers vs. Carter Cowboys

The Orem Tigers will take on the Carter Cowboys in a tournament on Friday. Orem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Carter likes a good challenge.

Orem is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Lone Peak, who was ranked 12th at the time (Orem was ranked 16th). The Tigers walked away with a 73-60 win over the Knights on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Carter beat Martin 67-54 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Carter's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Orem, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
