It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Acadiana Christian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They really took it to Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-14 win. Considering the Lions have won six matchups by more than 23 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Acadiana Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lane Parks and Brent Henry.

Although Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool took the loss, they still got scores from Brady Leblanc and Duff Nichols.

The victory made it two in a row for Acadiana Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Acadiana Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on John Paul the Great Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 1. The Lions will need to watch out since the Guardians have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
