Red Cloud Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Connor Rust

Red Cloud picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Connor Rust. Rust did his part (and then some), rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 61 yards.

Red Cloud's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Rust and Red Cloud will venture away from home to take on Dorchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gage Ely and Co. Win Sixth in a Row

Gage Ely was instrumental in extending Red Cloud's winning streak to six on Friday. Ely was dynamite, rushing for 157 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending two passes.

For the season, Ely has averaged 25.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to 14.

While Harvard might've come up empty on Friday, Cohen Reutzel wasn't going down without a fight. Reutzel turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 28 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Harvard is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cardinals challenges Lewiston at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hunter Englehart Delivers Electric Effort Vs Silver Lake

Hunter Englehart's big game helped extend Red Cloud's winning streak to six on Friday. Englehart was unstoppable, rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass.

This season, Englehart has averaged 17.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Jaxon Tenbensel Delivers Best Effort of Season

Silver Lake came up short on Friday despite Jaxon Tenbensel delivering his best game to date. Tenbensel rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

On the year, Tenbensel has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 59.8 rushing yards per game.
