Basketball Recap: Heze Kent's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Brunswick over Habersham Central

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brunswick couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 72-60 to the Habersham Central Raiders on Saturday.

Brunswick lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Heze Kent, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 18 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Butler, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Even though they lost, Brunswick smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Habersham Central, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-3.
