Basketball Recap: Mt. St. Joseph Academy Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mt. St. Joseph Academy can now relate to. They fell 40-28 to the Arlington Memorial Eagles on Friday. The Green Wave were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 32-31.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Arlington Memorial and bumps their season record up to 19-5.

Mt. St. Joseph Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arlington Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Rutland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. West Rutland will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Arlington Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
