Soccer Game Preview: Floyd County vs. Martinsville

The Floyd County Buffaloes will head out on the road to face off against the Martinsville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Floyd County and Auburn finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Martinsville was forced to settle for a draw. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Floyd County. The outcome might've been different if Xavier Rodriguez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Elijah Dixon and Josue Velasquez scored both of Martinsville's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Floyd County's record moves to 0-1-2. As for Martinsville, they moved theirs to 1-0-1.
