Football Recap: Pentucket Regional Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pentucket Regional can now relate to. They were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Norwell Clippers on Friday. Pentucket Regional was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.

Pentucket Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Norwell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Pentucket Regional will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Triton Regional at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. Pentucket Regional are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Norwell, they will square off against Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks' defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so the Clippers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
