Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Megan Bain and Morgan Walker Lead Forestburg to Victory + How To Watch

Forestburg won the last time they faced Midway and things went their way on Friday too. The Longhorns walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Longhorns.

Forestburg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

Forestburg was led to victory by Morgan Walker and Megan Bain. Walker had 16 digs, while Bain had 11 digs. Those 16 digs gave Walker a new career-high.

Forestburg was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Forestburg's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coming up, Forestburg will be playing at home against Gold-Burg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midway, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Saint Jo at 5:00 p.m. on October 7.
