Basketball Recap: Liberty County Comes Up Short

Liberty County lost against Jenkins back in November of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Liberty County Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Jenkins Warriors. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty County's record is now 10-10. As for Jenkins, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty County has already played their next contest (against Long County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jenkins will face off against Southeast Bulloch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jenkins is facing Southeast Bulloch at the right time seeing as Southeast Bulloch is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
