Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Takes a Loss

Hillsdale lost against Blissfield back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hillsdale Hornets were beaten by the Blissfield Royals 67-27. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured 18 defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Hillsdale still got an impressive performance from Sydney Hartzler, who posted 13 points. That's the most points Hartzler has posted since back in December of 2024. Chloe Denman also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Blissfield, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hillsdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-44 defeat against Clinton on the 21st. As for Blissfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-22 win against Madison on the 20th.
