Softball Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

Aquinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Bristol Panthers, falling 18-3.

Aquinas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Powell, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another was Gabby Lemasters, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bristol, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aquinas will welcome Cardinal Mooney at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bristol, they will be playing at home against Chaney at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
