Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland lost against Cibola on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Storm came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-3. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Cibola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cleveland will square off against Farmington at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Scorpions have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Cibola, they will challenge Piedra Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
