Soccer Game Preview: Peotone vs. Bishop McNamara

The Peotone Blue Devils will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Peotone is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Peotone is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Manteno on Thursday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bishop McNamara, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They beat Beecher by a goal, winning 2-1. Bishop McNamara haven't had any issues with Beecher recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Peotone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bishop McNamara, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Peotone skirted past Bishop McNamara 4-3 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Fightin' Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
