Basketball Recap: Buffalo Academy of Science Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Buffalo Academy of Science entered their matchup against Charter School for Applied Tech on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Buffalo Academy of Science Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to the Charter School for Applied Tech Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-24 on January 7th.

Buffalo Academy of Science's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4. As for Charter School for Applied Tech, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo Academy of Science will square off against Kenmore East at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Charter School for Applied Tech, they will take on North Tonawanda at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Tonawanda knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Charter School for Applied Tech likes a good challenge.
