Volleyball Game Preview: New Manchester Jaguar vs. Villa Rica Wildcats

New Manchester hasn't had much luck against Villa Rica recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Jaguar are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

New Manchester is headed out to face Villa Rica after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Jaguar blew past Creekside 3-0 on Tuesday.

New Manchester walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-8, 25-19.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Villa Rica faced off against Temple on Tuesday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since September 17, 2024.

New Manchester came up short against Villa Rica when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Jaguar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
