Soccer Recap: Howard Tech Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Howard Tech was not quite East Hamilton's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 2-1. Howard Tech were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as East Hamilton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Howard Tech's goal came courtesy of Miguel Aguilar, which was the first he's scored this season.

Howard Tech has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. East Hamilton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howard Tech will host McMinn County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Howard Tech is facing McMinn County at the right time seeing as McMinn County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Hamilton, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Ooltewah at 7:00 p.m.
