Basketball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Watertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 33-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeForest Norskies. The Goslings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Norskies from their previous meeting back in January.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for DeForest, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Watertown will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fort Atkinson at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. DeForest and McFarland will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
